Arrival in Tbilisi, the vibrant capital of Georgia, known for its mix of modern and traditional architecture, historical landmarks and rich cultural heritage. Our team will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel where you'll enjoy a comfortable stay. Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.

Get ready for a scenic road trip as we drive along the Military Road, passing by the picturesque Jinvali Reservoir, the Ananuri Castle and the Gudauri Memorial, towards Stepantsminda, the last town before the Russian border. Here, we'll meet our local, English-speaking mountain guide and prepare our gear, meals and other essentials for the adventure ahead. Overnight in Stepanstminda hotel.

We'll drive by an off-road vehicle to the mysterious Church of Gergeti, the highest mountain temple in Georgia, located at an altitude of 2,170 m. Horses will be waiting for us to transport our luggage to the Betlemi Hut, also known as the Meteo Station, located at 3653 m above sea level. Meanwhile, we'll continue our mountain hike to reach the station by foot. Overnight in Betlemi hut.

We'll climb to the highest church in Georgia, the Betlemi Church, located at 3900 m. The small iron carriage, fastened with strong ropes, will amaze you with its ability to withstand the powerful winds. After returning to the Betlemi Hut, we'll receive alpinist lessons and train with our gear, including ice axes, crampons, ropes, and other equipment, to prepare for our summit day. Today's the day we'll conquer one of the most beautiful peaks of the Caucasus, Mount Kazbek, which stands tall at 5034 m. The 10-14 hour hike will be well worth the breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching the summit. Overnight in Betlemi hut.

After a successful summit day, we'll make our way back down to the Gergeti Church where horses will be waiting to transport our gear back to Stepantsminda. Along the way, we'll follow a scenic mountain path and enjoy the stunning views of the valley below. Overnight in Stepantsminda.
