Description
Your adventure commences early in the morning as your guide meets you in your Kutaisi hotel lobby. The first destination is the Kinchkha Waterfall, a spectacular multi-tiered waterfall that plunges into a lush gorge. Located at an elevation of 843 meters, it is one of the tallest and most scenic waterfalls in Georgia, providing a stunning backdrop for both relaxation and photography.
Following the waterfall visit, you’ll head towards the Okatse Canyon. Your journey through this natural monument is facilitated by a well-maintained 780-meter hanging trail that offers safe passage through the historic Dadiani Forest. The trail culminates at a lookout point where sweeping views of the canyon's rugged beauty unfold before you.
Lunch features a selection of traditional Georgian dishes, served at a local family winery near the visitor center. This meal provides an intimate glimpse into the culinary traditions of the region, complemented by the serene natural environment.
Post-lunch, the exploration continues to the Prometheus Caves. This sprawling cave network is a geological marvel, featuring an extensive array of stalactites, stalagmites, and subterranean passages. Stretching over 1,300 meters, it is the largest cave complex in Georgia, and offers a breathtaking array of mineral formations and underground watercourses. If water levels permit, the visit concludes with an extraordinary boat ride through the cave’s aquatic passages, emerging into the daylight to mark the end of this subterranean voyage.
The return trip to your hotel in Kutaisi is reflective, winding through the landscapes you’ve come to know, with memories of a day spent immersed in the natural and cultural treasures of Georgia.
