Welcome to Georgia
After rendezvous at Kutaisi airport, we'll embark on a journey to the stunning Georgian high mountain region of Svaneti. During the trip, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of alpine meadows, dense forests, and one of Europe's largest dams. After dining amidst glaciers and high mountains, we'll head to the village of Mazeri, situated 1660 meters above sea level. There, with the help of our mountain guide, we'll have the opportunity to try snowshoeing on a short trek. Overnight stay in Mazeri.

Svanetian Lake Meziri in the Majestic Mountains
On our second day, we'll head to the picturesque Mezir lake, situated 1660 meters above sea level. You'll be mesmerized by the breathtaking view of Ushba mountain and the entire Great Caucasus Mountain range, as well as learn about a rich cultural tradition associated with the lake. Afterwards, we'll take a stroll through the Svanetian mountains before returning to Mazeri. Overnight stay in Mazeri.

Magic of the Frozen Shdugra Waterfall
On our third day, we'll embark on a hike to the Shdgura waterfall, one of the most abundant in all of Georgia. We'll start the journey from the Mazeri village and make the first part of the trip by 4x4 vehicle. Then, we'll continue our journey on snowshoes, trekking through a snowy coniferous forest until we reach the frozen waterfall. At the end of the day, we'll return to Mestia via the same 4x4 vehicle. Overnight stay in Mestia.

Today, we'll journey from Mestia to the high mountain village of Jhabeshi. Our day trek will take us along the main road and then across the impressive Tetnuldi range to reach the village. Overnight stay in Jhabeshi.

Explore Ushguli: Europe's highest village & UNESCO heritage
For the fifth day, let's visit Ushguli, a mountain community known to be the highest inhabited village in Europe, located at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level. There, you will understand why this place is protected by UNESCO. Weather permitting, we will attempt to walk around Ushguli and explore some of the isolated villages in the area, as well as discover the Svan towers, which are also part of the UNESCO heritage. We will spend the night in Ushguli.

Chalaadi Glacier
For the last day in the Svanetian mountains, let's visit the famous Chalaadi glacier. This final trek will take us through stunning valleys and dense forests, leading to an awe-inspiring view near the high mountain. You will be treated to an unforgettable panorama that will remain etched in your memory. After this magical moment, we will return to Mestia where you can gain insights into Svanetian traditions by visiting the town's ethnographic museum. We will spend the night in Mestia.
