Your private tour starts with a morning pickup from your Kutaisi location, embarking on a scenic two-hour drive towards the Chiatura region. As you travel Georgia, the towering Katskhi Pillar soon comes into view. This striking natural limestone monolith stands at over 40 meters high and is shrouded in history, dating back to activities from the 9th century. Historically, it has served as a place of monastic seclusion, symbolizing spiritual ascension and resilience, with a small church perched atop since the 4th century, accessible only by a precarious ladder.
Upon arrival at Sveri Adventure Camp, you're treated to a welcoming lunch, setting the tone for the day's experiences. Post-lunch, a detailed instructional session prepares you for the Via Ferrata. Securely clipped in, you'll follow your guide — a short walk leads to the starting point of your adventure. The Via Ferrata, the first in the Caucasus, offers a unique private tour experience.
