Your adventure begins with a convenient private pick-up from your accommodation. We’ll drive for an hour in a rugged 4X4 vehicle, traversing scenic routes until we reach the base of Mtirala Mountain.
From here, the journey truly begins. The trail is not for the faint-hearted, reserved for those with a taste for adventure. As you hike through dense forests and verdant meadows, our professional trekking guide will share fascinating insights about the local flora, fauna, and the history of Mtirala National Park. This park, named after the Georgian word for "to cry," is known for its high rainfall and lush, vibrant landscapes.
The 18 km round trip is moderate in difficulty, with an altitude change of 1000 meters. As you ascend, you’ll encounter a diverse range of terrains, from rocky paths to soft, moss-covered trails. The hike, lasting approximately 8 hours, offers plenty of opportunities to pause and absorb the magnificent views, take photographs, and enjoy a moment of tranquility.
