Description

Your adventure begins with a private vehicle transfer from Tbilisi to the Datvijvari Pass, sitting at an impressive elevation of 2675 meters (8776 feet) above sea level. As we prepare for our biking journey, take in the breathtaking views that stretch across Georgia's rugged landscape. The day's biking offers a choice of distances, ranging from 40 to 50 kilometers (25 to 31 miles), depending on your preference and stamina.

Starting our descent, you'll experience the thrill of downhill biking on rough Jeep tracks, perfect for advanced riders. The journey leads us to the ancient fortress village of Shatili, nestled deep in the Khevsureti mountains. Here, we'll pause to savor a traditional Georgian lunch and explore the village's unique historical architecture, which dates back centuries.

After lunch, we'll drive back up to the Datvijvari Pass, ready for the second leg of our biking adventure. This 60-kilometer (37-mile) descent takes you through lush valleys and picturesque villages, each turn revealing more of Georgia's natural beauty. For those who prefer a break from the technical descents, our support vehicles are always nearby, offering a comfortable rest whenever needed.

As the day winds down, we'll transfer back to Tbilisi, stopping along the way for a celebratory Supra, a traditional Georgian feast. Relish the flavors and camaraderie that make Georgian hospitality renowned. Finally, we'll return you to your accommodation, ensuring a seamless end to an epic day of biking and cultural exploration.
