Abbiamo fatto un viaggio in elicottero privato da Tbilisi a Mestia e poi siamo proseguiti per Batumi. L'elicottero era in ottime condizioni e il pilota era chiaramente esperto, quindi il volo è stato sicuro e fluido per tutto il tempo. Volare sopra il Caucaso e vedere le torri di Svaneti dall'alto è stata un'esperienza davvero unica. Abbiamo avuto un po' di tempo per passeggiare per Mestia prima di tornare indietro. Non è stata un'esperienza economica, ovviamente, ma sicuramente una delle cose più memorabili che abbiamo fatto in Georgia.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the region, making the history come alive. I loved the cozy 4-star hotel where we stayed—comfortable, with incredible views. While the hike was challenging, the feeling of reaching the top made it all worth it. Only hiccup was a slight mix-up with our meal orders, but it didn’t dampen our spirits.
